Klimbo vs Step 'n Wash: which one for your sinks?
Both make a retractable step stool for public restrooms. The child pulls the step out with a foot, steps up, washes, and the step folds back. Here is what actually sets them apart.

Three models instead of one
Choose by venue, budget and slab.
The Klimbo
The premium model, for venues where the finish matters: airports, museums, shopping centres. Floor-anchored.
The Klimbo Step
The most affordable anchored model, to equip several sinks: schools, arenas, municipal buildings.
The Klimbo Stair
Removable, no drilling, two steps. For a slab that cannot be drilled, or a step you want to move.
What Step 'n Wash does well
A well established US brand, built entirely in stainless steel, that ships most orders within one business day. If your specification calls for an all-stainless body, it is a serious product.
"Or equal" in a specification
A specifier evaluating Klimbo as an equal needs a data sheet, a numbered specification section, CAD files and a written warranty. All four are on the specification page.
Frequently asked questions
Is Klimbo related to Step 'n Wash?
No. They are two separate, competing companies.
How is a Klimbo step stool installed?
The Klimbo and The Klimbo Step are anchored into a concrete slab in front of an existing sink, with the anchors supplied, in about 15 minutes. The plumbing is not affected. The Klimbo Stair needs no drilling.
What is the lead time?
2 weeks for a standard order.
Can I get a specific colour?
Yes. RAL 7047 grey is standard; the 190 RAL colours and Axalta metallic finishes are available to order, at an extra cost.
