At Klimbo, we are committed to ensuring our customers' satisfaction with their purchase. Our products are crafted under the highest quality standards and come with a limited warranty. If a product is found defective before or during installation, Klimbo may issue a return material authorization (RMA) number and offer a credit in exchange for the defective product.
Customers requiring a part for repair should not remove it from another finished product unit. Instead, they are advised to contact Klimbo Agent or [email protected]. Parts in stock are typically dispatched within 24 hours, and customers can expect to receive them within 3 to 7 business days.
For items not regularly stocked, lead times may vary. Urgently needed parts will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
If, after consulting with Technical Support, it is determined that "The Steps" cannot be serviced, a return and credit request may be initiated from the place of purchase. Credits will be issued only to a current Klimbo distributor.
Upon receipt of the returned product, Klimbo will inspect and test it before issuing credit. Credit may be denied under these conditions:
- The product returned does not match the RMA.
- The returned unit is missing components, has been cannibalized, or is out of the warranty period.
- The product has been damaged during field service or installation.
- The returned unit is not manufactured by Klimbo or is not defective.
For defective products, customers must provide a specific description of the defect with their claim. Generic descriptions like 'Doesn't work' are not acceptable. A more detailed description, such as 'The Steps are not unfolding correctly,' is required. If no apparent defect is found, the customer may be contacted for clarification.
Customers should not initiate a debit memo or make deductions but wait for a credit memo to be issued. As noted, full credit may be denied in some circumstances.
General Return Information:
- If the product is not received by Klimbo within 30 days of creating the RMA, the RMA will expire.
- Credit is typically processed within 15 business days of product receipt.
- Products found to be defective or shipped incorrectly by Klimbo will be credited at invoice price plus return freight charge. Non-defective or non-error returns are subject to a minimum 25% handling charge, with return freight at the customer's expense.
- All returns must be authorized by Klimbo prior to return. An RMA number and return address will be provided.
- The RMA number must be visible on the outside of each returned package.
- Material over 2 years old is subject to a 50% handling charge. Products over 3 years old will not be accepted.
- Deductions will be made for any material returned that is not in saleable condition.
- For returns, contact your Klimbo representative, who will assist with the RMA process. Necessary information includes Invoice Number, Product Code Number, Part Number, Date Code, and Quantity.
- Material returned as defective but found serviceable after inspection will be returned to the customer at their expense or scrapped, with no credit issued. A test report will be available upon request.
- All returns must be freight prepaid.
